iron lungs rasp coarsely as they inhale
shudder shrapnel metal as they exhale
wheeze
a powerful weakness
and ultimately self operating
as an extension of determination
be my strength
be not my downfall
and you iron lungs
you too shall see the silver lining of your accomplishment



synopsis of today's double practice = BREATHING IS OVERRATED.
and i have hw to do.
but I really wanted to share my swim schedule with you guys =D

Monday - 2:45-4:15pm and 6:30-8:30pm (yes, that's 2 practices in 1 day)
Tuesday - 2:45-5:15pm
Wednesday - 2:45-4:15pm and 4:30-5:30 in the weight room
Thursday - 2:45-5:15pm
Friday - 2:45-4:15pm and 4:30-5:30 in the weight room
Saturday - 9:30am-noon(ish)
GLORIOUS AMAZING SUNDAY - let your muscles heal as much as you can before the week starts up again!

for a total of.... 16 (or more) hours of swimming each week
yeah yeah yeah!
but I have a surprise for you guys.
...I am actually currently working on a pretty big digital painting. something I've *gasp* NEVER EVER DONE BEFORE. EVER. if it turns out like shit I might cry. but hopefully it won't turn out like shit! =D and you don't get to know what it is until it's done. hint: it has a hand on it. (lol what a terrible hint...sorry guys ;])

welllll now I must return to the mountains of homework which await completion (or lack thereof)

I'm lazy and don't want to comment on your journal or pictures separately. but...

I LOVE the photography dump~~~ Great use of lighting in a bunch of them and great perspective, too! Keep uploading your classwork. :D

And btw, congrats on the Arts Alliance gig! That's great~ And everyone goes into NHS for the same reason... It's so boring. And Junior year is tough, but it's a lot of fun, too. Totally worth it. You'll make it through, and look back and be like. Dang. I'm crazy. ....but it was so worth it." :3

haha yeah; most people applied for NHS just because it looks good on college applications. It'll be fun with all the provided volunteer opportunities though :] And it sounds like you're definitely speaking from experience when you talk about junior year! Thanks so much <3
